Pepsi is historie. De eerste Pepsi werd in 1898 gebotteld in North Carolina, Amerika. De jonge apotheker Caleb Bradham wilde zijn klanten een verfrissend en gezond drankje aanbieden. Daarom mixte hij spuitwater, suiker, vanille, zeldzame oliën en kolanoot-extract tot een lekker drankje. Eind jaren 40 kwam Pepsi voor het eerst naar Nederland.
